Internet safety

Protecting our children from the dangers posed by using the internet requires parents and children to know the basics of internet safety.

Check out our useful tips on keeping your children safe online.

#DITTO is a free half-termly magazine for parents to keep you up to date with risks, issues, advice and guidance on keeping children safe online.

Children must always:

  • Always ask for an adult’s permission before using the internet.
  • Never give out personal information e.g. name, home address, school or any telephone numbers. If you are asked for this information, tell an adult straight away.
  • If a website asks for a name or email address, always check with an adult.
